Atlanta, GA Job Details $184,000 – $241,500 a year 8 hours ago Qualifications 5 years English Market research Bachelor’s degree IT Computer skills Senior level Full Job Description Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Head of Ethics & Business Integrity (E&BI) Innovation and Operational Excellence who has a curiosity to understand customers’ needs and concerns to join us in our Ethics & Business Integrity (E&BI) leadership team, based in our Smyrna, GA Office . This is a hybrid position. About the role You will be responsible for managing key elements of the compliance program at UCB Communications strategy and execution of global communications activities within E&BI organization and broader UCB organization, including preparation of Board and senior leadership reports and updates. You will also be responsible for strategy and coordination of communications outside UCB. Who you’ll work with You will collaborate with the Head of Global E&BI and E&BI Leadership Team members to ensure operational excellence for the E&BI organization. What you’ll do Maintains thorough knowledge of key international industry codes, and in cooperation with Legal, of all applicable laws and regulations. Monitors and follows up of key developments that would impact the business. Advise the business regarding existing and future provisions, ensuring appropriate planning and preparation of remediation actions if needed. Drives risk assessments for Ethics & Compliance in the assigned departments, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed of relevant risks and implementing remediation plans in collaboration with E&C Leadership. Ensures development, implementation, and interpretation of compliance program with collaborating with other E&BI pillars Develop ongoing training and development of E&BI to ensure ongoing development and team readiness for future needs. Prepare communications and reports for senior leadership including Executive Committee and Boards Receive, assess and answer or direct the question to the appropriate E&BI contact. Develop and maintain standardized answers to most recurrent questions in collaboration with other E&BI pillars Develop reports about frequent questions for informing E&BI frameworks and E&BI systems Collaborate with relevant E&BI teams to implement all centralized reviews operations Collaborate with E&BI regions to collect country specific requirements when needed Perform all E&BI reviews assigned in compliance with internal standards and in a timely manner Make informed reviews for all assigned reviews and collaborate with the impacted E&BI stakeholders to manage deviations/exceptions decisions I nterested? For this role we’re looking for the following Minimum requirements Bachelor’s Degree 5-10 years of experience in the biosciences or pharmaceutical industry 5-10 years of experience in healthcare compliance in the pharmaceutical industry Full proficiency in English and favourably knowledge of a second/third language Preferred requirements Good Healthcare Compliance codes knowledge at international level Good knowledge of E&BI principles related to publications, market research, funding, external research, HCS engagements Good business acumen on UCB therapeutic areas and products Innovative problem-solving skills Curiosity to understand customers’ needs and concerns Ability to prioritize and connect the dots Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective cross-functional relationships Good computer proficiency Ability to use various IT systems daily This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $184,000 to $241,500 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
