MAU is hiring a Compliance Engineer for our client Textron, in Augusta, GA. As a Compliance Engineer, you will support global regulatory compliance for vehicles equipped with IoT wireless devices. This is a short-term contract assignment.

9/80 schedule: Work 9 hours/day for 4 days, first Friday is an 8-hour day; following Friday off
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Electrical Engineering preferred)
2-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, quality control, design, or test engineering
General Requirements
Experience in an industry using IoT wireless devices within mechanical/electrical products preferred
Understanding of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), compliance, and/or quality systems
Knowledge of EMC regulations is a plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable requirements
Relevant certifications in regulatory compliance or quality management are a plus
Essential Functions
Complete compliance work for IoT-enabled vehicles to meet global regulatory requirements
Maintain and manage compliance documentation such as test reports and certifications
Ensure proper testing and validation for compliance with applicable standards
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to integrate compliance into design and manufacturing
Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly
Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections
Support compliance training and provide guidance to internal teams
Engage in industry groups to influence relevant regulations and standards
