Vendor Compliance Supervisor Acadiana, LA Schedule:
Monday – Friday ; 5:30am start time
Salary:
$50,000 base with additional bonus potential
JOB SUMMARY
This role is a pivotal position which ensures the overall success and compliance of the auditing process. This role will oversee a team of associates who perform auditing and unloading functions with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement. This role will also work with the site management to ensure that the operation is effective, efficient, and safe and recommend areas of improvement.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities:
Monitor load counts and volume daily to ensure proper staffing levels Communicate and monitor performance metrics Assign workload to ensure efficiency Communicate violations and overall metrics with site leadership daily Validate violations prior to allowing loads to leave the facility All aspects of associate management including recruiting, training, ongoing coaching, and corrective action as needed in conjunction with the Vendor Compliance Manager Identify and recommend areas for improvement to the site management #LI-KM1

QUALIFICATIONS
education and/or experience: High school diploma Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment knowledge, skills and abilities: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Attention to detail Familiarity with pallet building standards Demonstrated commitment to safety standards Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of associates physical requirements: Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors, changing temperatures) Ability to frequently bend, crouch, stoop, and twist Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Visual acuity to inspect loads
