Quality Regulatory/Compliance Manager Location:

Duties:

Serve as the facilitys primary GFSI (SQF) Practitioner. Perform annual (at least) quality assessments and internal audits. Serve as the facilitys HACCP Coordinator. Serve as the facilitys Kosher Coordinator. Ensure that the facility is within USDA and FDA compliance regarding food safety. Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, annual compliance reporting. Responsible for food safety and quality. Assist in establishing and implementing plant-wide training related to SQF and food safety, which may include serving as a SME for New Employee Orientation and providing and/or presenting SQF and food safety related training. Develop, maintain and implement food safety programs and policies, which may include but are not limited to: HACCP Plan, SSOPs, SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices, Approved Supplier Program and Document Control. Ensure facility programs and policies comply with all pertinent government regulations, certification requirements and customer requirements. Act as facility advisor for food safety questions, concerns and/or incidents. Perform internal facility food safety audits. Perform supplier audits as deemed necessary. Organize and set agenda for food safety committee meetings. Keep senior leadership informed on facility compliance to programs and policies, changes to regulations or requirements and new technologies. Maintain a collaborative relationship with other departments and co-workers. Work primarily in a monitoring and advisory capacity. Authority to stop processes in the event of gross non-conformance of procedures and/or regulations. Serve as the Companys point of contact for all industry-related communication for SQF.

Requirements:

Bachelors in food science, microbiology, chemistry, biology or related science discipline and 2 years experience in a food/feed industry role with knowledge in food safety standards, FSMA and GFSI.
