We are seeking to hire bright, dynamic leaders who have a passion for service and a commitment to excellence. Beztak is looking to hire a Compliance Director to join our team. The Compliance Manager will provide compliance processing and oversight to our affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) communities and LIHTC programs throughout the company. The Compliance Manger works closely with the property management team to assure properties comply with all Federal, State, and County rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in overseeing a portfolio of affordable housing (LIHTC, HUD) programs. Complete all housing contracts for individuals applying with vouchers before move in Annual Reporting – ensures accurate and timely preparation of all annual owner certifications relating to compliance with occupancy and other program requirements in strict accord with IRS, HUD, and housing finance agency requirements. Annual Reporting- ensures accurate and timely preparation of all annual reporting is submitted to each State annually. Monitor and update rent, income limits, and utility allowance charts for all affordable housing properties Review and approve all move-in files within 24 to 48 hours of being received for properties that participate in affordable housing. Review and approve all resident files prior to certification deadline that participate in affordable housing Track and monitor EIV compliance Update HUD Rent Schedule Assist in State file/physical audits and conduct necessary research to prepare a response to the required agency. Work closely with property managers and staff in training and other areas in times of need. Monitor state agency websites to ensure we are using the most up-to-date forms and policies. Monitor data entry in Yardi to assure compliance Follow and monitor

changes and advise and train as updates occur Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed. Travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
3 years’ experience with Affordable Housing (Project Based Section 8 and/or LIHTC) Required certification with HCCP and/or
COS Preferred Certifications:
CPO, SCHM, TCS
Working Knowledge of Yardi Software preferred Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
