AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a Director of Quality and Compliance. This position is full-time Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with a Hybrid option. Must reside in the Burlington/Greensboro area .
Job Summary :
Serves as organization’s expert for regulations related to quality and compliance for all clinical programs. Responsible for monitoring quality, compliance and regulatory aspects of organization services. Responsible for developing an annual audit schedule as part of the compliance program. Serves as a resource for staff. Provides education regarding regulatory updates. Ensures compliance with Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP). Leads regulatory and policy / procedures updates. Stays abreast of industry quality and compliance changes and disseminates information regarding changes in regulation. Responsible for organization survey readiness and re-accreditation process. Serves as the organization’s Privacy Officer, ensuring staff education and consultation needs are. Ensures care meets industry quality benchmarks. Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field required, e.g. nursing, social work, therapy. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospice, home health, long-term care (LTC), or hospital setting. Health professional with appropriate licensure/certification. Master’s degree in healthcare related field preferred. Healthcare quality and regulatory compliance required. Leadership and supervisory experience required.
Other:
Valid state-issued driver’s license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
