CHIEF INSPECTOR
Charlotte-North Carolina In-Flight Crew Connections is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be working for a Part 145 Corporate aircraft maintenance repair station.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure strict adherence to all regulations outlined in 14 CFR Part 145, as well as any additional applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain established procedures that guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and requirements. Conduct inspections to monitor compliance across all aspects of aircraft maintenance operations. Oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and repair are consistently met. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and certifications. Ensure that all required documentation and reports are completed thoroughly and submitted in a timely manner. Facilitate the proper retention and storage of records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on compliance status, issues, and initiatives. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team. Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certificate (required) IA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with significant experience in a regulatory compliance role (required). Thorough understanding of 14 CFR Part 145 regulations and other relevant aviation regulations and standards (required). Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Compensation:
