90000 We are looking for a Materials Compliance Manager to lead our client’s chemical compliance and international trade efforts.

Summary:
This role ensures their products and processes follow all relevant U.S. and global regulations – from chemical safety and labeling to import/export laws.
You’ll oversee SDS documentation, labeling, SAP system updates, and hazardous material handling. You’ll also manage trade compliance across international markets, supporting global shipments and maintaining essential regulatory records.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage compliance with TSCA and global chemical regulations.
Maintain accurate SDS/MSDS and labeling using SAP/GLM+.
Oversee raw material screening for Kosher, Halal, NSF, and regulatory standards.
Ensure products and materials meet EPA, DOT, OSHA, and TCEQ requirements.
Supervise import/export operations and ensure compliance with Incoterms, export controls, and customs rules.
Maintain trade documents such as invoices, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
Keep the Approved Products List updated in SAP.
Monitor and report on compliance and trade KPIs.
Support audits and improve compliance processes.
Lead and mentor a small team, promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, International Trade, or a related field
3+ years of experience in international trade, preferably in chemicals or manufacturing
Experience with
SDS/MSDS
creation and labeling (GLM+/SAP)
Strong SAP experience in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of TSCA, chemical inventories, and regulatory restrictions
Solid understanding of EPA, DOT, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
