Symrise – always inspiring more… Your role In your role as Director, Global Technical Compliance you will: Be the subject matter expert for IFRA Standards and Amendments Lead the implementation and coordination of IFRA and major regulatory compliance topics Participate and/or lead relevant internal and/or external working groups, committees, and ad-hoc groups Responsible for the oversite of data and system testing to support the implementation of new and/or changing global fragrance documents Coordinate & ensure accuracy and synchronization of regulatory information for internal stakeholder usage and external compliance documentation Provide regular team updates for relevant global and regional projects, tasks, regulations, and initiatives Influence strategic compliance decisions Support internal and external customer inquiries Contribute to providing system/technical solutions for proactive analysis impact of regulatory changes to Symrise ingredient and selling portfolios Provide training, support, and guidance to new staff members, trainees, junior specialists, and specialists as needed Implement & support continuous improvement initiatives and projects/tasks as defined by manager Interface with other regulatory global and regional groups to contribute to process improvements About you BS/BA minimum; MS/MA or advanced degree preferred in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or related scientific field 10+ years of Regulatory Affairs experience – Global Fragrance industry preferred Strong technical, analytical, IT, and problem-solving skills Proficient computer skills required, including experience in SAP, government or other agency portal reporting, database management, and managing significant volumes of data Regulatory vigilance and ability to interpret regulations Highly organized with project management skills and the ability to handle conflicting priorities Ability to lead projects/teams ensuring deadlines are maintained Dialogue and interact with internal global personnel and external customers Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels Ability to apply business strategy to daily work and projects Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision Our offer Become part of our open and transparent culture. Pay Transparency Disclosure:

The expected annual salary range for this position is

USD 155000.00 – USD 220000.00.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
