Trade Compliance Manager

Summary:

We are searching for a motivated Manager to join our Trade Compliance team. The Manager will be responsible for helping prepare monthly reports, manage customs value changes, conduct customs entry audits, and support with customs duties and import-export data. When required support Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, country of origin assessment, valuation, and other customs issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong academic background in finance or supply chain or years of experience in Customs and a genuine interest in international trade to gain practical experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage various import and export reporting in SAP, Excel, and Power BI. Resolve customs issues at entry time Issue reports that provide a clear and concise view of key performance indicators (KPIs) and customs-related business trends. Support with product classification and country of origin Conduct assessment of preferential origin for Free Trade Agreement eligibility and prepare Certificate Of Origin for stakeholders Maintain Master Data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and compliance of key data elements such as country of origin and classification. Maintain recordkeeping of import/export transactions, utilizing internal systems and databases to manage compliance data effectively. Audit the entries and calculate Key Performance Indicators. Assist in managing Duty Drawback program – collection of data and documentation, preparation of requiring reporting. Monitor CBP and PGA regulation changes to ensure full compliance with internal procedure. Support the value adjustments process with customs

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or supply chain, or International Business, or related field 2 years of experience with import and/or export, or customs brokerage activities or financial analysis role or in global supply chain. Customs Brokerage License would constitute a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and functions) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment that values collaboration efforts. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. Take Initiatives to improve processes and implement solutions independently. Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Bonus Points For:

SAP Experience is a plus. Experience with import/export compliance software is a plus. Experience with US Customs regulations and procedures is a definite advantage.
