POSITION SPECIFICS
The Office of Ethics and Compliance is seeking a Title IX Coordinator responsible for leading efforts across the University to ensure compliance with federal Title IX policies and related federal and state statutory. This includes regulatory requirements regarding sex and gender-based discrimination, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and all other forms of sexual misconduct. The coordinator will develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for the University’s adherence to Title IX and all related policies and procedures, and oversee the development and implementation of related programs, services, and education/outreach for students, staff, and faculty.
Additional duties include:
Manage the University’s response to all Title IX complaints and ensure timely and thorough completion of all Title IX investigations, in partnership with appropriate offices
Organize and maintain grievance files, disposition reports, and other compiled records regarding complaints of sexual harassment and other gender discriminatory practices and prepare annual statistical reports on the incidences of gender and sexual harassment and sexual misconduct
Oversee institution-wide education, training, and outreach programming related to Title IX
Oversee the development and implementation of assessment instruments to measure the reach, effectiveness, and impact of Title IX related initiatives; maintain the University’s Title IX database and website
Keep abreast of current state and federal laws and regulations and trends related to Title IX; provide ongoing consultation regarding Title IX requirements, grievance issues, and compliance programs to central administrative units and groups, across all University locations
Monitor gender equity and the application of Title IX policies within Intercollegiate Athletics
Consult with University leadership regarding the staffing structure and administrative needs of units which support the University’s adherence to Title IX, including coordination of a staff of professionals who are responsible for providing education and outreach, conducting investigations, and providing support for the University Park campus, the Commonwealth Campuses, and World Campus
May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management Who we are looking for

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal ground Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal ground Check.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $97,100.00 – $145,700.00.
