Remote Privacy Compliance Manager

Annual Base Salary Range:

$107,800 – $200,200 USD •Plus, potential incentive/variable compensation for eligible roles life insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance United States, Pennsylvania Jun 27, 2025 You will be responsible for supporting the Group Privacy, Data and Cyber Regulatory Office, working directly with the Group Data Protection Officer in providing management support and oversight for Nokia’s Privacy Program in Europe and the UK, as well as other jurisdictions as may be necessary from time to time. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the Group Data Protection Officer and the network of Privacy Leads and Privacy Champions in implementing and maintaining the Nokia Global Privacy Program. Collaborate with country managers and leadership teams to ensure strong privacy governance and compliance across all business units.
Provide expert guidance on compliance with Nokia’s privacy policy, standards, and procedures to enhance organizational practices.
Deliver engaging training sessions to internal stakeholders on the nuances of Nokia’s Privacy Program and best practices.
Support the Binding Corporate Rules certification process to uphold global privacy standards.
Manage and respond to privacy risk incidents, ensuring adherence to internal policies and protocols.
Create and review detailed privacy assessments in One Trust, including Processing Activity Assessments and Privacy Vendor Assessments.
Identify and analyze trends in privacy risk incidents and assessments, proposing effective remediation strategies.
Collaborate with legal teams and the broader Privacy Network to influence and align with Nokia’s data protection strategy.

You have:

Prior experience of privacy compliance is essential.
You should have a good understanding of the GDPR or other key privacy frameworks.
Experience of the Onetrust privacy platform and a relevant privacy certification is desirable.
You should have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex privacy issues clearly, concisely and simply.
