- I. Job Summary
- The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of contracts within the Public Sector organization’s centralized contract database.
This role leads a team tasked with accurately extracting, structuring, and maintaining contract data in a data mart to support business intelligence, compliance, and strategic decision-making. The Contract Manager plays a critical role in identifying revenue leakage, mitigating contract-related risks, and driving process improvements. Manages Contract Compliance function within Area Public Sector Services.
- II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Other minor duties may be assigned. + Oversee the maintenance and integrity of the contract database and data mart. + Ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of contract data into structured formats. + Define and enforce data governance standards and quality controls. + Analyze contract terms to identify potential areas of revenue leakage (e.g., underbilling, missed renewals, unclaimed incentives). + Assess contractual obligations and compliance risks. + Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations to address discrepancies and enforce contract terms. + Identify and implement process improvements in contract lifecycle management and data handling. + Support automation initiatives to streamline data extraction and analysis. + Manages the Contract Compliance team tasked with the following responsibilities: + Rate increases tied to municipal contracts. + Charitable contribution program compliance. + Salesforce.com compliance for Area Public Sector Services. + On-going audits to identify unbilled revenue + Reviews, analyzes and interprets contract requests. + Participates in strategic planning for municipal business within Corporate. + Evaluates existing municipal contracts for new business opportunities and revenue growth.
- III. Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position manages employees. + Lead and mentor a team of contract analysts and data specialists. + Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely and accurate data delivery. + Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience +
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Public Administration, Business Administration, or similar area of study, and seven or more years of previous experience managing, reviewing, monitoring, and/or negotiating contracts or other similar legal documents. +
Preferred:
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Public Administration, Business Administration, or similar area of study, and five or more years of previous experience managing, reviewing, monitoring, and/or negotiating contracts or other similar legal documents. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements + None required. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required + Contract management experience may be required.

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $93,700 – $139,955. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
