Job Description
DescriptionThe purpose of Ops Trust is to manage privacy and AI compliance for the Operations (Ops) Organization. The candidate leads the Privacy Engineering and AI Compliance team and acts as an AI/privacy subject matter expert. They work with legal and developers to support our strategic vision. The candidate understands technicalities of developing software applications as well as legal privacy and AI requirements and can ensure that applications technically align to these legal requirements. The individual will serve as the Leader of Team tasked with:
- Holistic assessment of AI models and systems risks focusing on areas like privacy, safety, fairness, and robustness.
- Supporting development and implementation of Privacy by Design (PbD) strategy.
- Develop PbD technical architecture for all newly released applications.
- Create AI safety standards to assist builders through development.
- Working with builders and developers to conduct in depth privacy and AI risk reviews and guide builders through their design, ensuring that appropriate obligations are met.
- Serving as SME on of privacy and AI regulatory developments and standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and using data to drive results.
- Autonomously perform operational deep dives on AI related processes and systems and engineer mitigating measures to produce scalable solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across WW Ops, Legal, and federated privacy and AI compliance teams to ensure privacy and AI safety are is considered in projects and decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor (undergraduate) degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineer, Security, math, physics, or others) OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Familiarity in technical disciplines, including the following: privacy engineering, network security, application security, mobile security, secure development methodologies, software development and coding, identity management, authentication and authorization, network architecture, system administration, security engineering, and systems engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence.
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, math, physics, and studies around AI/ML
- Proven People Leader managing cross-functional technical teams
- Outstanding Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing and presenting reports to senior level management
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision

The base pay for this position ranges from $187,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $324,100/year in our highest geographic market.
