Air Quality Project Manager Job Locations US-TN-Knoxville Category Air Quality Type Full-Time Overview As an Air Quality Project Manager for Civil & EnvironmentalConsultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Knoxville, Tennessee office, youwill evaluate and present information regarding emissions fromproposed processes and equipment in support of state and federalpermit applications and regulatory compliance reports. Assistingclients with sustainability reporting and achieving Environmental,Social, Governance is also an important priority for this role. Jobduties will include performing engineering calculations, compilingpermit application documents, preparing compliance reports, meetingand coordinating with clients to obtain and understand projectinformation, communicating with regulatory personnel, andevaluating control technologies and emission reduction options forclient facilities. The candidate will work with an establishedtechnical staff of junior to experienced scientists and engineersand be expected to provide mentoring and technical training.

Qualifications Requirements:

B.S. or M.S. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering,Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields; Experience with emission inventory calculations, air permitapplication preparation, and compliance reports; Experience in Project Management of air quality permitting andcompliance projects is a must; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 8+ years consulting, compliance, or industry experience; Knowledge of USEPA, TN and other regional air qualityregulations.

Preferred:

Knowledge of New Source Review procedures; Experience with Best Available Control Technologyanalyses; Familiarity with air compliance needs of the solid waste,manufacturing, mining, and power industries; Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD.
