BASIC FUNCTION
Manage the daily implementation of the Bank’s consumer regulatory compliance program and the Bank’s student loan program. Assist in the research, development, implementation, maintenance, and communication of compliance projects, policies, procedures, training, and other aspects of the Bank’s compliance program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for development and implementation of strategic direction for the Bank’s compliance program Research and develop appropriate policies and procedures for assigned projects and topics Oversee internal controls and auditing systems to ensure compliance in all areas of the Bank Assist Chief Compliance Officer with internal, audit, and regulatory requests Assist with the research and review of internal requests for compliance guidance Maintain a risk based, pro-active compliance management system (CMS) Analyze new regulations to assist in the implementation of appropriate changes to the compliance strategy and process Develop technical skills of team members
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND TRAINING
Knowledge of compliance related laws and regulations for lending and deposits Knowledge of
BSA/AML/OFAC
related laws and regulations Specific knowledge of TRID and other laws and regulations related to consumer residential real estate lending Ability to research and interpret regulatory requirements Verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to work independently Ability to write process and procedures to implement policy Strong communication skills

REQUIREMENTS
Senior level regulatory compliance experience Experience in loan compliance at a bank, credit union, or mortgage company is required. Specialized training and/or certification in financial institution consumer regulatory compliance is preferred. Five or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
