Job Summary:
Whisenant Construction Co LLCis seeking a detail-oriented and organized Compliance Coordinator to support our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Compliance Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting with the development, implementation, and monitoring of our compliance programs. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring regulatory adherence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
Monitor and track changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Coordinate and schedule compliance training sessions for employees, track participation, and maintain training records.
Assist with internal compliance audits and reviews to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
Support the investigation of potential compliance violations, gather relevant information, and maintain confidential records.
Maintain and organize compliance-related documentation, including policies, procedures, training materials, audit reports, and regulatory filings.
Assist with the preparation and submission of required regulatory reports and filings.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to compliance policies and procedures.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure consistent application of compliance standards.
Track and monitor the completion of required compliance certifications and acknowledgements.
Assist in the development and dissemination of compliance-related communications and awareness campaigns.
Identify and escalate potential compliance risks and issues to the Compliance Manager or relevant stakeholders.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of compliance management software and tools.
Perform other compliance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of basic compliance principles and concepts.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:
