Quality Assurance Compliance Officer Myers/Davis Life Coaching 1141 E Main St Ste 102, Batesville, AR 72501

Overview:

Reporting to the CEO and CFO, the Quality Assurance Compliance Officer will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data related to the quality of our services. This person will ensure that our processes and records are within guidelines outlined by State and Federal guidelines, Myers-Davis Life Coaching, and fall within our Accreditation through The Council on Quality and Leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with other Q/A team members on creating and implementing quality measurements, standards, and processes to improve quality of service to clients and families.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of State and Federal guidelines/requirements affiliated with the services provided. Keep current on all state licensing guidelines and requirements.
  • Assists departments with the coordination of audit information and recommends appropriate data-gathering mechanisms and procedures.
  • Auditing internal client files and processes to ensure accurate documentation and fair practice.
  • Being a liaison for our clients and Direct Support Professionals.
  • Conducting Personal Outcome Measures (POM) interviews with clients. As needed travel to satellite locations to conduct POM interviews.
  • Assists in the creation of committees, such as Quality Assurance Committee and Human Rights Committee, and monitoring such committees, as needed scheduling regular meeting times/agendas working with M/D management teams to adjusting purpose and scope over time.
  • Working in tandem with Waiver supervisory Evaluating Complaints or Grievances received from clients or families served and determining appropriate actions in response.
  • Creates a copesetic working environment with other departments performing quality assurance studies and assists with the accumulation and dissemination of information to appropriate supervisors, departments, and executive staff. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. College education in a relevant field preferred but not required.
  • Preferred, but not required, 1+ years’ relevant previous work experience in the general business field.
  • Language skills, mathematical skills, reasoning ability apply (including reading, writing, interpreting documents/instructions, speaking effectively, calculating figures/amounts, basic algebra/geometry, practical problem solving)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet browser.
  • Personal & professional skills apply (including satisfactory personal grooming, voice control, genuine respect/concern, punctuality, and appropriate dress)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of the team to accomplish shared goals.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Working directly with our Q/A team located in the Batesville, AR. Office hours Monday _ Friday 8:30 to 4:30. Some travel will be required.
