Records Management Position Available In Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Records Management – Import Analyst to join our team in Farmington, Connecticut. In this role, you will play a key part in managing recordkeeping and data analytics processes, with a focus on compliance and operational efficiency. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support daily transactional operations, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline shipping and logistics processes.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP R/3 to generate reports and presentations.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to customs and trade compliance standards.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial notes and procurement documentation.
• Provide guidance on procedural updates and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to team initiatives aimed at enhancing operational workflows.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders effectively. Requirements
• Proven experience in recordkeeping, data analytics, or a related field, preferably within an importer/exporter environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or trade compliance processes.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 or similar systems is highly desirable.
• Understanding of logistics, procurement, and shipping functions.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
