Role:

The Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies within the finance and insurance industry. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs that mitigate risks and promote ethical practices. The Compliance Coordinator will conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and ensure that all employees are trained on compliance-related matters. By maintaining accurate records and documentation, this role supports the organization in avoiding legal penalties and enhancing its reputation. Ultimately, the Compliance Coordinator contributes to the overall integrity and sustainability of the business by fostering a culture of compliance and accountability. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area within the finance or insurance industry. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks. Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional – CCEP). Experience with compliance software and tools. Knowledge of data protection regulations and practices.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance. Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related topics and best practices. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all business processes.
