Position Responsibilities:

Provide support for the clinical information systems in the hospital network Provide support, direction and execution for: Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reporting measures including but not limited to

Measures Leapfrog Initiatives eCQM Other CMS regulatory requirements: Skill with reporting/data submission and Epic reporting tools, SQL, Tableau Serves as a resource person for the regulatory reporting issues of the hospital’s clinical systems Acts as the internal expert on clinical systems functionality and capabilities, and keeps abreast of changes to the base system. Documents functional and technical requirements, mapping process flows, documenting test plans, conducting system testing, documenting user manuals and administering training. Work with the clinical customers to understand their requirements, map process models, design technical solutions to satisfy requirements, and complete formal system testing. Monitor system performance and report anomalies, errors, inaccuracies or inefficiencies. Collaborate closely with

  • Participates in system testing events by executing scripts Accurately documents and reports any noted errors or deficiencies Upgrades/Optimizations
  • Provides support to department/end users during system upgrade and optimization activitiesProjects and New System Implementations
  • Executes assigned tasks under the supervision of senior team members/management Issue Resolution
  • Utilizes system knowledge and available resources to address routine issues Downtime Processes
  • Actively participates in testing of downtime processes Activities may include executing test scripts, working with end users or other tasks to support downtime activities Provides support to formal training classes when necessary in the form of proctoring, materials preparation or other tasks as necessary
Qulifications:

Epic Ambulatory, Epic Clarity or ClinicDoc or other certifications disired 3-5 years prior experience working in a clinical information systems environment and familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies; implementing change; risk assessments; and gap analysis, must also have a solid understanding of appropriate clinical workflows, commercially available technology, relational database concepts, and package system implementations 3+ years Epic software implementation experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience SQL reporting experience preferred Florida resident required for full time, 1099 contract option for out of state Benefits We believe in the physical and mental well-being of our employees and are committed to offering comprehensive benefits that fit their personal needs.
