Position Overview:
Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add a Compliance Specialist to our team. The Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations related to obtaining and maintaining licenses and permits for the organization. This includes researching and understanding the requirements for different types of licenses, applying for them, tracking their status, and renewing them as needed. You will also provide guidance and support to other departments regarding the licensing process and will coordinate with outside agencies and vendors to ensure that all required licenses and permits are obtained and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage licensing agreements and contracts Monitor license terms and conditions and ensure compliance Identify and evaluate current and potential licensees Provide guidance and advice on licensing laws, regulations, and procedures • Organize and manage licensing records • Prepare state annual reports for licensing continuity Provide support and assistance to other departments when needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Paralegal, or related field 2-5 years in licensing and/or compliance Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge of state and/or federal regulations Ability to interpret and explain complex regulations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Self-starter Proficiency in
