Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for working and reviewing Affordable Housing applications and recertifications while ensuring they are eligible and compliant with applicable and current regulatory requirements.
This opportunity requires willingness to be on several properties as directed by the Regional Team in Orlando for the first 90 days, and potential to go longer.
This is a great opportunity for a leasing agent with strong LIHTC experience to grow in their career.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The review of Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with all required laws.
Review the files based on information presented by the applicants and ensure review of files within 24 hours of receiving.
Adherence to all policies and procedures as set forth in the personnel manual.
Participates in all tax credit reviews by outside entities.
Education & Experience
Experience with LIHTC required.
Experience in recertification process required.
Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach required.
Strong computer literacy skills are essential to this position, including RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
