Job Summary To ensure that Cemex US Tax Team provides our customers with superior service by providing accounting and reporting services at world-class levels to help drive business results. To analyze and continually improve current processes to gain efficiencies and ensure quality by constantly challenging the status quo. To gainfully participate in a high-performance team. Job Responsibilities Prepare, file and pay business licenses renewals plus other miscellaneous taxes
Assist with Sales and Use Tax return filings, reports and registrations
Maintain compliance calendars
Respond timely to notices for Business Licenses and Sales Tax
Organize business licenses renewals filing support
Facilitate business licenses renewals mailings at the post office
Apply for new registrations and name change applications for business licenses renewals
Organize and file supporting documentation
Process, disseminate and organized incoming and out-going mail
Analyze, assist, and execute continuous improvement in current work processes to gain efficiencies.
Assist with other tax projects and filings as needed.
Other tasks as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma
Minimum 2-3 years related similar job-related experience i.e. sales tax filings, accounts payable or an administrative position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Collaborates well with other teams including Operational Support, Procurement to Pay, Master Data, Legal and uses leadership skills to build strategic partnerships. Ability to listen to internal partners to ensure initiatives are implemented with full cooperation and engagement from all involved parties.
Ability to influence others and lead initiatives successfully across complex organizations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to interact with all levels of end-users Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities
Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking ability. Proven team player with the ability to lead, guide and influence cross-functional teams.
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well as demonstrated skills in fact-based analysis using large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including the ability to persuasively present insights and recommendations to senior management. Working Conditions Capability to work extended hours as necessary

Capable of working in an open office environment
