Validations Supervisor Pasco Sheriff’s Office New Port Richey, FL 34654 JOB SUMMARY Responsible, visible, civilian position that supervises the highly technician position of Validation Specialists. Must be able to perform the essential functions of Validations Specialists and review validations members’ work periodically. This position will be responsible for training within the section, which includes but is not limited to: orchestrating weekly training for the staff, working with the staff to develop each member’s performance, and organizing the training for a newly assigned position/member. Works closely with and handles the day to day issues with the staff. Coordinates and works with various sections within PSO and outside Criminal Justice Stakeholders. This Validations Supervisor will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and policies for the maintenance and validation of all files on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Ensure compliance and assist in the research and analysis of

entries. Prepare for and be the operational spearhead the validations audit. Provides support to the Compliance Administrator by assisting with tasks and duties during absences, ensuring continued adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance standards as needed.

EOE/ADA EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES

High School Equivalent (Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma) required. Computer, clerical skills as well as knowledge of

FCIC/NCIC

systems and Law Enforcement activity required. Knowledge and experience with quality assurance and knowledge of FBI and FDLE compliance regulations preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of criminal justice stakeholder and administrative systems experience required. Experience with Hot Files, internal and external databases. Two years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience as a trainer preferred. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be

FCIC/NCIC

Full Access certified and have access to DAVID in order to perform job functions.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
