Helps mitigate risk of fraud, abuse, and waste by supporting the effective execution of the LRHS Compliance Program and annual departmental work plan. Assist in coordination and support of compliance and privacy reviews, audits and examinations. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks, reviews and prepares reports, prepares correspondence and participates in special Corporate Integrity department projects. Standard Work Duties:
Compliance Generalist Coordinates with and provides assistance to the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer, Director of Compliance and staff in developing and implementing corrective action to resolve identified compliance problems and maintains records and documentation collected for all CIS activities. . Performs periodic audits related to the Annual Compliance Plan. Assists with Compliance and Privacy education and training for all employees. Maintains tracking and reporting of disclosures, repayments and settlements for overall Compliance Program auditing & monitoring activities. Collaborates with external auditors and consultants, as well as clinical, administrative, professional, and technical information systems staff to identify organizational needs and implement solutions to support the achievement of performance outcomes. Assists in the collection and sorting of data related to compliance and privacy audits.
Competencies & Skills Essential:
Very organized with strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven research and written skills. Strong multi-tasking capabilities. Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.

Certifications Essential:
CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) and RAC certification
CCEP Experience Essential:
Two years of compliance experience in a healthcare setting
Experience Preferred:
