As part of the Compliance team at Impact Partnership and Impact Partnership Wealth, the Compliance Analyst will serve as the primary resource supporting the compliance needs of Impact insurance agents working with insurance carriers and reviews for IPW marketing materials related to Investment Advisory products and services. For the Ad review functions, this position requires an understanding of securities state and federal advertising rules and regulations, to ensure compliance of our materials with the applicable requirements. For the Insurance business, building and maintaining relationships with our carrier partners and help to facilitate and escalate matters as they arise. This position reports to the VP of Compliance. Duties/Responsibilities Primary contact for insurance agents and insurance carriers. Works with insurance carries and agents regarding insurance regulations and other compliance-related topics. Establish and maintain professional working relationships with carriers and key contacts to ensure meaningful and effective communications between Impact and our carrier partners. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. Understand and interpret insurance statutes/regulations pertaining to the insurance industry. Review and approve producer/advisor communications, promotional materials, and sales training, as well as consumer-oriented advertising and marketing materials for investment advisory products and services. Review and revise internally created and producer-created advertising, sales training, and seminar programs to ensure compliance with applicable securities state and federal rules and regulations, as well as carrier guidelines, as permitted for investment advisory services. Assist with IAR onboarding and approval of core materials for the IARs investment advisory practice Support and respond to Business Lines with escalated cases design and/or suitability reviews. Work with carriers and/or agents to review and support client complaints and/or agent investigations. Respond to agent and carrier requests with optimal customer service while operating within ethical and compliance guidelines.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements and regulations Advanced knowledge of insurance and investment products Advanced understanding of sales and services processes as well as company policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of management, associates, producers, carriers and vendors PC proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate complex subject matter both verbally and in writing Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Ability to work under pressure and manage several projects simultaneously Critical reading skills Qualifications/Education Bachelor’s degree Securities industry experience 2 or more years’ experience working in the financial services industry Series 65 preferred or interested in obtaining in the future (or some other similar industry credential
