Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance, enhancing documentation standards, supporting quality improvement (QI) initiatives, and ensuring readiness for audits, surveys, and accreditation reviews. This individual will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support best practices and excellent client outcomes.

Pay:

$20 – $22, depending on qualification s and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives to enhance quality of care and support revenue retention through quality improvements. Submit weekly QA reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Educate staff and supervisors on:

Quality standards Regulatory changes Documentation accuracy Incident reporting Professional conduct Collaborate with the Nurse Educator to execute the company’s education plan .

Ensure compliance with:

Georgia Medicaid Waiver Programs (CCSP, SOURCE) DCH regulations Accreditation standards (CHAP, ACHC) Support survey and audit readiness (state licensure, utilization reviews, etc.). Develop and update policies, procedures, and protocols in response to quality findings. Provide ongoing feedback to management regarding improvement opportunities. Identify and lead agency-wide improvement initiatives to elevate patient care. Ensure 100% participation in client and employee satisfaction surveys. Monitor and manage online reviews and direct feedback for quality tracking. Represent the agency in local and statewide QI meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field (preferred) 2+ years of experience in a home care or healthcare setting Experience in quality assurance, compliance , or supervisory roles preferred Familiarity with Georgia Medicaid Waiver Programs (CCSP, SOURCE, GAPP, NOW/COMP) is highly desirable Strong knowledge of QAPI, CMS, CARF and

ACHC/CHAP

standards

Performance Standards:

Maintain 98%+ accuracy across key quality indicators (credentials, documentation, complaints, patient care, supervisory visits) Conduct regular QA meetings ( monthly, quarterly, annually ) Monitor and enforce compliance with all policy and procedural updates Resolve quality-related issues within 4-24 hours Audit charts for State and Federal compliance with 98%+ accuracy Display consistent professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability Meet all internal deadlines and demonstrate initiative on new tasks
