Senior Business Operations Analyst, Compliance 6 months contract100% remote (PST or MST preferred) W2 Contract About the role Willdrive strategic initiatives around business process improvement andoptimization projects throughout the Legal and Compliance (LandC)organization. This role is a key part of the organization’ssuccess, partnering with multiple teams on cross-functionalprojects-requiring substantial business knowledge, operationalwisdom, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, andproficiency in data analytics and process optimization. Reportingto the Senior Manager, Compliance Operations and Strategy, you willcontinuously assess our internal compliance operating methods forpotential improvement, including opportunities in artificialintelligence, automation, consolidation, and increased performance;collaborate to improve our compliance systems and tools; and workto standardize operations and system adoption across all complianceteams. You will assist our legal and compliance teams to workacross the company to build compliance requirements, by design,into client’s daily operations. You will drive key legal andcompliance initiatives to completion through close collaborationwith business partners and compliance leaders. You will be a keyadvocate for our extraordinary culture of compliance throughout thecompany.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Business OperationsAnalyst on the Legal and Compliance team, you will: Own a varietyof well-defined initiatives that drive operational efficiencyacross the Compliance functions, including consolidation,standardization, and automation of functions, staffing, andmethodologies. Critically examine, measure, and thereafter innovateCompliance operational methods, tools and processes. In this role,you will participate in identifying, assessing, and championing theadoption of artificial intelligence and automation into Complianceoperations. You will also help identify technology systems thatenhance operations and configure those systems for use across theCompliance teams. Assess and improve internal operations by helpingto develop uniform operational procedures, consolidating functions,standardizing reporting metrics, and improving compliance programdocumentation. Partner with the Senior Manager of ComplianceOperations to identify friction and gaps in existing processes andto ideate and implement creative solutions to these challenges.

Support the adoption of a standardized system for drafting,adopting and periodically reviewing key policy and proceduraldocuments across the enterprise. Participate in the design anddevelopment of effective communication channels for the Complianceteams and their partner teams in the Legal department andthereafter facilitate the free and transparent flow ofproject-related information between these teams. Partner with theLandC Business Intelligence team to build and maintain dashboardsfor key compliance metrics. Build and maintain strong and trustedrelationships with internal and external collaborators.

Qualifications:

You should possess a bachelor’s degree with aminimum of 5-6 years of experience as a compliance or strategicoperations leader, gathering and utilizing data to inform businessdecisions. You demonstrate proven leadership in compliance theory,project management, process optimization, and organizationalskills. The ideal candidate has a strong background in optimizingbusiness processes and technologies for multifunctional teams andan understanding of data and information management, processworkflows, stakeholder alignment, and their potential impact onbusiness operations. You need experience in the management ofcross-functional work streams from conception to completion withinstated SLAs. You should be able to work effectively in a remotework environment through self-motivation, clear communication, andmanagement of your workload and schedule. Strong projectmanagement, technology, and organizational skills are essential toyour success in this role.

MUST HAVE

A strong PM background.

Airtable and Smartsheet are both musts. Strong compliancebackground to include regulatory compliance (understanding thelanguage), understanding of the mortgage origination process, etcPrior experience with medium to large tech firm (required)
