Your Impact As a key member of McKinsey’s Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Data & Insights team, you will work closely with program leaders to analyze data, uncover insights, and support the firm’s ethics and compliance objectives. Your work will focus on transforming data into actionable insights that enhance decision-making, strengthen regulatory adherence, and mitigate risks.
In this role, you will analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that align with the firm’s ethics and compliance goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver insights that address key challenges. Additionally, you will develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enable real-time analytics and reporting for leadership.
Your responsibilities will also include supporting the implementation of data governance practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security, while adhering to regulatory standards. You will conduct advanced data analysis, such as predictive modeling and trend analysis, to identify emerging risks and compliance gaps. Furthermore, you will partner with leadership to design and deliver analytics tools that provide actionable insights and drive ethical decision-making. Lastly, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Your work will play a critical role in ensuring ethical and compliant decision-making across the organization. By analyzing data and providing meaningful insights, you will help enhance operational integrity, strengthen regulatory adherence, and mitigate risks. Your contributions will empower teams to make informed, principled choices that uphold the firm’s values and protect its reputation.
You will be based in the United States as part of our E&C’s Data & Insights team. This team analyzes data and trends to identify risks, ensure regulatory adherence, and provide actionable insights that support ethical decision-making and organizational integrity.

Your qualifications and skills Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in data analytics, statistics, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with a focus on delivering actionable insights for high-performing organizations
Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work through ambiguous analytical challenges to deliver meaningful insights
Strong expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and modeling
Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Builds trust-based relationships with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, collaborating effectively to meet shared goals.
Possesses exceptional organizational and project management skills, driving outcomes on cross-functional and complex topics
Exhibits the highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding confidential data and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations
Fluent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
