Community Compliance Coordinator
Atlanta, Georgia, United States
The Community Compliance Coordinator will ensure that rental properties in all FirstKey Homes’ markets comply with local homeowners’ associations agreements and city/county codes. This role will track, monitor and update records to ensure applications are completed, fees are paid, and properties comply with covenants and codes.
Review and document covenants, conditions and restrictions for Home Owner Association (HOA) requirements and fees.
Coordinate with local field teams and HOAs to obtain association information and updated invoices.
Assist with filling out HOA registration and license applications.
File HOA fee requests and ensure HOA invoices are processed and approved through payment applications in a timely manner.
Process amenity requests for residents and communicate HOA matters to residents via phone and/or email.
Submit invoices for approval through payment applications.
Enter, maintain and update HOA information in company systems for reporting and tracking purposes. Scan and document physical violation letters from HOAs and municipalities.
Maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and data in various software programs to track HOA and violation information. Assist with pulling information from various databases for HOA and violations reporting.
Work with various internal teams to ensure property and HOA information is accurate.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations.

High School Diploma or equivalence
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Minimum 1-year experience in a compliance or administrative type role

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management program
Experience interpreting and complying with HOA covenants and violations
Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth environment

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Clerical— Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
Customer Service— Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
