Compliance Coordinator Position Summary:

The Compliance Coordinator supports the Compliance Department in ensuring timely and accurate responses to carrier, regulatory, and internal documentation requests. This role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and submitting required documentation, tracking outstanding items, and ensuring follow-up to completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and organizing documentation in response to carrier and regulatory inquiries. Maintain logs and records of requests and submissions to ensure deadlines are met. Follow up with internal departments and external parties to obtain required documentation or clarification. Support audits and compliance reviews by compiling relevant materials. Help ensure that documentation meets regulatory and contractual standards before submission. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies. Assist with other compliance-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare, insurance, or TPA environment, preferably in a compliance or administrative role. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage follow-up activities proactively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements is a plus.
