Our fast growing compliance company which is located in Alpharetta, Georgia is looking to hire a Compliance and Licensing Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Compliance and Licensing Specialist in the Financial Services and Information Services industry! Base pay, plus bonus opportunity! Room for advancement! Interesting start-up Tech clients. Familiarity with filing Secretary of State Registrations or “NMLS”, The Nationwide Multiple Licensing System, a plus. We are looking for a high-performing Compliance and Licensing Specialist to be in charge of a variety of administrative duties while assisting with the filings and reports we provide to our clients. Individuals should have a demonstrated track record of success and a strong desire to create efficiencies, develop solutions, problem solve and make significant contributions to our organization while providing amazing, highly professional service to our clients. The Compliance and Licensing Specialist will support the Vice President of Operations as well as be responsible for providing support to our clients, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The individual should have excellent communication skills, maintain confidentiality, be able to plan ahead to meet deadlines and above all must like working with detailed information. Responsibilities
- Assist Vice President with state filings
- Write and distribute email correspondence, faxes and forms
- Complete and submit client applications
- Prepare proposals
- Track new submitted business
- Accept inbound calls
- General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Handle requests for information and data
- Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
- Prepare written responses to routine inquiries
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
- Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules
- Maintain office supply inventories
- Figure out how to exceed client’s expectations Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2-5 years of proven experience as an administrative assistant (financial services and legal industry is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage priorities efficiently
- Exceptional follow-up and follow through skills
- Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
