1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Senior Analyst to take ownership of enterprise-wide secure configuration compliance using Policy Compliance (PC) and Security Configuration Assessment (SCA). You’ll work on efforts to engineer, implement, and optimize configuration hardening strategies aligned with industry best practices, ensuring critical systems are secure, compliant, and resilient. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Develop and maintain secure configuration baselines mapped to CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, and
NIST 800-53
frameworks. Guide remediation efforts by working closely with system owners, infrastructure, and application teams — translating scan results into actionable, prioritized fixes. Design automation and workflows to streamline policy enforcement and compliance validation. Build meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting on configuration compliance, control effectiveness, and drift over time. Monitor the effectiveness of SCM (Security Configuration Management) controls and adjust based on evolving threats, technology stacks, and regulatory requirements. Support audit and regulatory requests by mapping control coverage and providing compliance evidence. Partner with vulnerability management, cloud security, and GRC teams to align SCM efforts with broader risk and compliance strategies.
Required Qualifications:

Two or more years of experience working within an enterprise Information/Cyber Security setting, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience managing Policy Compliance, including custom control authoring, policy tuning, and scan optimization using Qualys, CloudGuard, Turbot, Wiz and any comparable tools Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating assessment and remediation tasks. Security certifications such as Qualys Certified Specialist – PC, CISSP, GIAC, Security+, AWS/Azure security certs would be a plus Banking or financial services experience Other Job Requirements / Working Conditions Sitting Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
