AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a Documentation Analyst. This position is full-time Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Must reside in the Burlington/Greensboro North Carolina area . This position will be be remote after training is completed in the Greensboro, NC office.
Job Summary :
Assists Director of Quality and Compliance with regulatory and compliance activities. Responsible for completing documentation audits to ensure organization compliance, quality, and excellence.
Required Skills/Abilities :
Understanding of hospice and integrated health and requirements related to reimbursement, certification, accreditation, and licensure. Possess good organizational skills, detail oriented, communicate effectively. Highly computer literate. Must have strong Excel skills. Must have the skills to apply appropriate statistical techniques to analyze and display data. Conducts ongoing monitoring of hospice/integrated health eligibility and documentation adequacy/ accuracy. Audit charts for compliance, including admission paperwork, timeliness of admission, IDG, and hospitalizations. Reports noncompliance issues detected through auditing to the Director of Quality and Compliance. Gathers documentation to respond to focused medical reviews or other external audits. Assist with projects as able. Education/Qualifications:
Experience working in a health care related role or organization required. Minimum of an Associate’s degree in health-related field. Regulatory compliance and documentation auditing experience in hospice or home health preferred.
O ther:
Valid state-issued driver’s license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
