Position Summary:

The Compliance Analyst I is responsible for all tasks relating to the Compliance, Customer Service, Legal, and Sales departments to assure the SIG Experience Center operates within the Federal Firearms regulations. This individual operates as a subject matter expert in support of Sales staff to ensure the accuracy of all FLL forms. This role ensures all Compliance related transactions carry over in the Oracle system and integrate seamlessly with Orchid A&D Bound Book. This role typically requires 3+ years of previous related work experience and the ability to respond to and manage, quickly changing requirements. The Compliance Analyst I must have the ability to work with limited direction and supervision and collaborates with the SEC Compliance team, Legal, Customer Service, Sales, and the warehouse.

Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversight of all completed ATF Form 4473s on-site at the SIG Experience Center. Maintain, review, and audit all ATF Form 4473 storage and archiving. Document, organize, and review all necessary corrections to ATF Form 4473s. Provide immediate information for ATF Traces to the Legal team. Assist customers requiring account recovery within ATF eForms or Silencer Shop. Oversight of CoreStore Bound Book to ensure that physical documents match digital files exactly. Complete and submit all necessary NFA forms (3,4). Provide customers information regarding NFA Form submission requirements. Assist and coordinate customers using Silencer Shop for NFA Form certification. Manage and maintain efficient and compliant storage for all NFA items. Ensure all NFA dispositions and shipments are compliant with all relevant regulations. Liaise with Silencer Shop to resolve customer account and NFA form discrepancies. Liaise with ATF NFA Branch for all required form changes and withdrawals. Notify customers, Sales, and warehouse teams of approved NFA forms. Present corrections records and remedies to Sales teams and management. Assist in correcting serial number discrepancies and records. Provide feedback Sales team regarding trending issues. Assist Sales and Shipping with order holds and shipments. Update current customer FFLs in Oracle and Agile. Assist with monthly inventory for all serialized items at SEC locations. Maintain serialized inventory accuracy above 99% for all assigned SEC locations. Ensure all Compliance team requests are completed same day as received. Provide training to Sales team regarding trending issues. Help in other parts of the team regularly, work with and relay information to other departments regularly. Analyze and diagnose problems and malfunctions to expedite and coordinate corrective procedures and to prevent excessive downtime and interrupted schedules. Engage in and actively volunteer for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks. Participate in and sustain 5S Standards. Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education/Experience & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 3+ years of previous relevant work experience. Strong customer service focus and systems-management expertise. Strong ability to document, organize, and revise information, and the ability to create analyses from a dataset using Excel. Must maintain a “delegate” role with ATF eForms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel) required, Oracle and Coreware preferred but not required. Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form. Ability to complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner and require little to no supervision to identify additional tasks.

Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks. Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
