Role:

As a Compliance Consultant , you will play a crucial role in supporting our Director of Compliance by researching assigned topics, providing summaries, and making recommendations. You will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on privacy and contracts administered by FedPoint, and you will help develop and maintain a master list of all compliance requirements, along with a related calendar and staff training materials1.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:

Conduct research on privacy, FAR, DFAR, state and federal regulations, contract requirements, and more. Summarize and analyze information, and develop recommendations for review.

Privacy Program:

Formalize and document FedPoint’s Privacy Program, conduct annual reviews of HIPAA privacy policies, and update training programs as needed1.

Compliance Portfolio:

Develop and maintain a master compliance list, compliance calendar, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Review and develop annual compliance training materials.

Support Compliance Director and Team:

Participate in leadership meetings, maintain clear communication, and assist with other projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in government contracts, compliance with contract requirements, federal and/or state regulations, HIPAA law, or privacy. Proven research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to summarize information and write recommendations for executive review. HIPAA certification (either obtained or to be obtained within nine months of hire). Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with AWD or similar workflow management tools is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and professional communication skills.
