JobDescription:
An ECC (Export Compliance Coordinator), has theresponsibility for assisting the Empowered Official to meet theirgoals of developing, implementing and managing export/importcompliance and controls, including but not limited to the specificresponsibilities as defined in Corporate Policy. The ECC must beable to work effectively with a cross-functional team to keep incompliance with U.S. trade regulations while also helping to fosterinternational growth within the business. Determine U.S. Governmentrequirements for situations related to daily export/importsactivities to support the objectives or our locations goals.
Process shipment paperwork using EASE for all exports of hardwareSubmit to GTG (Global Trade Group) initial drafts and finallicense, agreement, and general correspondence, allowing adequatetime for corporate and government review. Ensure compliance withapproved license applications, agreements, general correspondence,and permits/licenses with limitations, provisos and requirements.
In conjunction with the EO, simultaneously notify theDivision/Subsidiary legal counsel and the Segment Trade Directorwhen any violation or potential for a violation has been identifiedwhich could lead to a fine, penalty, seizure, and/or disciplinaryaction is, or has the potential to be, imposed upon the Corporationby the U.S. or foreign government for non-compliance withexport/import requirements. Provide technical and other assistancenecessary to support investigation and disclosure of potentialviolations. Support investigation and give other assistancenecessary to address a potential or actual violation. Develop andconduct export/import and ITAR training consistent with corporateguidance, and that specific to this location regarding its productsand services. Review export/import activities to determine ifaction needs to be directed to specific departments or individualsfor potential inaccurate transactions associated to activities.
Self-audits will be conducted as required by corporate proceduresto ensure those actions have been taken and are consistent. Worksdirectly with shipping carriers and brokers to give direction onexport/import clearances. Ensure that the export of controlledtechnical data via electronic means, e.g. e-mail, facsimile orinternet, has been approved for export under U.S. Government lawsand regulations Ensure all commercial exports for hardware,software and technical data has an official JurisdictionClassification (JC) completed via segment Technical Specialist (TS)Reviews visitor requests to determine necessary course of action ifthe visitor is a Foreign National or other US Persons. Review allemployee foreign travel, business or personal.
Experience/familiarity with U.S. trade regulations (ITAR and EAR)in a working situation. Ability to learn different products groupsand their related capabilities for the specific location from whichthey work. The ability to effectively coordinate simultaneousactivities, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with goodjudgment while working independently. Effective interpersonal andcommunication skills and the ability to interface with personnel atall levels, both verbally and in writing. Exhibits a high level ofintegrity and discretion. Adept with utilizing computer softwareapplications, e.g. Adobe, Web-based applications, MS Excel, MSWord. The ECC per GTG policy must attend at least one internalExport/Import & Compliance Training Seminar and one externalExport/Import & Compliance Training Seminar. The ECC per GTG policymust attend Annual International Licensing Conference in order toremain current with Policies and U.S. Government Export/Import Lawsand Regulations and maintain this appointment. Complete GTGPractitioner training suite within 6 months of employment.
BasicQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of priorrelevant experience, or, 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degreeand a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience, or, GraduateDegree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.

PayRange•: $45-$50 per hour. •Pay range offered to a successfulcandidate will be based on several factors, including thecandidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific jobduties, certifications, etc.
