The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role will focus on monitoring compliance with laws related to Conflict of Minerals and will also involve assessing and implementing compliance measures for other relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure compliance with Conflict of Minerals regulations.
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance issues and best practices.
Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies as needed.
Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry standards related to compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Conflict of Minerals regulations and compliance practices.
Familiarity with CA Prop 65, Full Material Disclosure, REACH SVHC, and RoHS Directive is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
