As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our Corporate Compliance programs to ensure adherence to both state and federal regulatory standards while enhancing operational efficiency. You will report directly to the Director of Corporate Compliance and work from one of our campuses in League City, Houston, Galveston, Texas, or Glenmont, New York. Two positions available on this team.
What You’ll Do:
Support Compliance Programs:
Assist in compliance areas such as training and education, data sourcing and reporting, conduct and ethics, policy administration, AML/OFAC, advertising, and suitability. Prepare for
Compliance Training:
Develop and maintain training materials and metrics to ensure our team is always up to date with the latest compliance standards.
Generate Key Reports:
Create key performance and risk indicators, analyze data, assist in compliance audits, and build actionable recommendations.
Administrative Functions:
Schedule meetings, manage office operations, and organize shared drive items in OneDrive/Cloud storage and local network drives.
Best Practices Development:
Identify and implement best practices within the compliance department to strengthen operational consistency, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Relevant work experience in compliance, regulatory, or analytical research/analysis.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (e.g., basic formulas, data organization, and report formatting), with familiarity with tools like PowerPoint and Word. Exposure to data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
Cross-Functional Support:
Proven ability to support a wide range of functions, demonstrating flexibility and effectiveness in contributing to various initiatives and operational needs.
Communication:
Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings clearly and interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail and the ability to summarize and interpret data effectively. Our job titles may span more than one career level.
