About the job:

The BE VP will serve as the primary liaison between Front and Back office to ensure accurate and timely execution, monitoring and post-sale service of all Trade products, which will include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities: Documentation – 50% Review that all documentation is in order per the checklists for new facilities and transactions. Review Agreements to ensure compliance with credit and other approvals. Review language of SBLCs and DCs. Review documentation provided by the Front office for review and 2nd check prior to sending to the back office using checklists in place. Contact customers in a timely manner to obtain complete final documentation decks within the internal deadlines agreed with our back office. Profitability – 10% Ensure transactions under existing facilities hurdle as per the approvals and minimums in place by the Front Office. Maintenance of information in the NBC database / transaction pipelines. Billing – 5% Monitor pending invoices and follow-up with clients to ensure timely payment of fees. Maintenance of external invoice platforms with clients. Outstanding reports / Facility Monitoring / Transaction Monitoring – 35% Obtain all required approvals for individual transactions under approved facilities (Reputational Risk, RM/Credit Approval, signed notices, Asset Allocation). Monitor annual renewals (NBC, Agency Risk, WorkFlow, Asset Allocation and Reputational Risk). Compliance new deal monitoring and required internal and external reporting. Monitor letter of credit evergreen transactions and ensure profitability and compliance with approved terms and conditions on an annual basis. Jointly with Back and Front Offices, ensure the proper accounting and reporting of SBLCs by type (financial, non financial) and tracking of regular/special SBLC cases. Accurately manage all onboarding related items for transactions in the bank’s systems (Fenergo, onboarding & KYC). Hogg tool entries to ensure transactions are reported at the global client level. Work Flow submissions for risk approvals of transactions. Liaise with other departments for transaction related questions (i.e Compliance, Audit, operations, etc). Monitor all ongoing deals and reconcile with the Front Office.
