Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Regulation Consultant to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, leveraging your expertise to support critical processes. Responsibilities:
- Ensure FDA compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Conduct thorough reviews of product formulas and ingredient lists to align with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize nutritional software such as Trustwell Genesis or similar tools to analyze and validate data.
- Provide expert guidance on the application of industry regulations, including compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and uphold compliance practices.
- Support auditing processes and documentation to maintain regulatory adherence.
- Stay updated on evolving industry regulations and proactively implement necessary changes.
- Utilize compliance software and tools, including Devex, to streamline regulatory processes.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance team awareness of compliance requirements.
- Foster innovation and creativity while navigating complex regulatory challenges. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 1 year of regulatory affairs experience in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in nutritional software such as Trustwell Genesis or similar tools.
- Experience using compliance tools like Devex is highly desirable.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
