DESCRIPTION OF WORK

You will serve as the main contact for applicants of the Historically Disadvantaged Business Assistance (HDBA) program. Your responsibilities encompass reviewing and evaluating applications, as well as providing initial recommendations for approval or disapproval to the HDBA Program Manager. Additionally, you will handle invoice processing and oversee grants and grantees to ensure compliance with program requirements. Your role includes assisting in the review of program compliance, requesting further information from applicants to assess eligibility, and offering technical support to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also respond to inquiries from applicants and fund recipients, prepare and distribute various contract documents, and review payment requests for cost eligibility in accordance with established guidelines. Furthermore, you will assist in auditing projects and service centers for compliance, maintain a comprehensive list of active projects for ongoing review, and suggest updates to program guidelines. Your contributions will also involve recommending improvements to enhance internal processes, participating in site visits and meetings, and managing data within program-specific databases. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework:

You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or a related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
