What you will do:

You will apply knowledge of Alcohol Beverage License (ABL) Laws, regulations, and policies to examine and analyze applications, schedules, and other documentation to determine compliance with SC laws to approve or deny ABL licenses/permits.
Primary job duties include: Analyzing, interpreting data, and conducting research to determine compliance with ABL laws to approve or deny ABL licenses/permits. Receiving all in-state permanent ABL application packets. Performing initial review and analysis and setting up applications in the SCDOR processing system. Collecting all fees and preparing financials for deposit processing. Transmitting application information to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) for field investigations. Communicating with employees and customers to assist and educate. Consulting with SCDOR personnel, county officials, and state officials to resolve basic ABL issues. Researching, interpreting, and citing ABL laws, regulations, and internal guidelines to gain knowledge and a basic understanding of ABL compliance requirements. Minimum and Additional Requirements

Either:

A bachelor’s degree OR An associate’s degree and one year of relevant program experience OR
A high school diploma and three years of relevant program experience
Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.
