Job Description

This position requires working knowledge of the cash application process and experience with the transportation documentation including Bill of Ladings, ASN, Packing Slips and Proof of Deliveries. Working for a CPG manufacturing company, transportation or in retail accounts payable division is a plus. This is a very detailed oriented assignment with high volume of transactions. Prior experience and fluency with cash applications and submitting transportation and deduction claims is required. The candidate must be able to work the claims very quickly and efficiently. Must be very comfortable working with large sets of data and keeping track of hundreds of claims that are in different states: from unsubmitted to submitted, denied, approved. Good Excel skills including VLOOKUPs. The technical skills will be tested to determine if the candidate is a good fit for this role. 40 hours/week with up to 20% overtime one week a month.

Shortage deduction disputes with Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Ace, Amazon and Lowe’s on their portals Processing denied claims in our ERP system Helping with cash applications for our ACH and Lockbox payments Helping with other types of deductions as needed Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
