Job Description

The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is a go-to expert when it comes to using our central specs management system. In this role, youll help train and support team members across the company so they can use the system effectively. Youll also work closely with different teams to keep the specification process running smoothly—from development through approval. You’ll also act as a back-up to the system administrator, so some tech know-how is a plus. Ideally, you’ve worked with product specs before and have a knack for staying organized and paying attention to the details that matter. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain things clearly are key—especially when training others.

  • Possess great attention to detail and a commitment to improve the robustness, accuracy, and accessibility of data while supporting assigned plants’ specifications needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the specification development and approvals process for all assigned plants.
  • Enter the raw material and finished product specs and collaborate with product development, suppliers, procurement, and quality assurance throughout the commercialization process
  • Follow established guidelines to maintain all supporting documentation in a central repository
  • Enforce conformance to the agreed-upon common practices across the varied business segments
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries for product technical information and complete product information requests in multiple customer portals
  • Support plans to improve or streamline the associated business practices and offline systems Education and Experience Degree Required Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Meat or Poultry Science Biology Chemistry Engineering 2 years of experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
