We are looking to add a Credit Manager to our team. The Credit Manager oversees the credit granting process and ensures that there is a consistent application of company credit policy. Duties and Responsibilities:

Investigate and verify the financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit Manage daily and weekly communications with related business units and subsidiaries of the parent company to help overall credit risk and team sharing. Prepare documents to substantiate findings, and approval/reject applications while offering continual communication of findings to both management and Trader staff. Establish credit limitations on customer accounts and handle special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment. Audits delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt status to account. Coordinates with others, including personnel in company branches, to exchange information and update controls. Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder. Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details; schedules follow-up communication with account holder. Processes credit applications, collecting further information as needed. Reviews credit references by independently validating references provided by the applicant or by using a credit reporting service. Determines, based on established credit guidelines, credit limit to be approved. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management preferred, but not required. At least two years of prior collections experience required.
