We are looking for a Payment Systems Banking Manager to join our dynamic Power Financial Credit Union Family to serve a key role in the management and ongoing leadership of the Payment Services Department which includes directing and coordinating the activities and operations of ACH, Wires, Share Drafts Debit, ATM and Credit Cards. This position will serve a key role in leading effective Payment Services policies, procedures, all while providing ongoing assistance for the retail team and members to ensure an optimal member experience. This position will also play a key administration role on a variety of special enterprise wide projects. This position will be a key partner in researching and recommending new programs and technologies and in developing improvements in the processing of each area.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL

Manage the EFT functions: Share Drafts to include returned items and clearing; Wire Transfers to include incoming, outgoing and reconciliation, and ACHs to include disputes, stop payment request, and social security reclamations.

Manage the Card Service functions:

ATM/Debit and Credit Card processes to include maintenance, card ordering, disputes, fraud, ATM cash management, off-site ATM maintenance, CAM alerts, and share branch transactions, and adjustments. Perform ongoing analysis to ensure policies, methods and procedures are accurate, up to date and in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Provide reporting to Manager on key performance metrics within respective unit. Provide auditors with relevant information needed to complete periodic audits. Provide a myriad of management and leadership responsibilities for a large staff (approx.. 10) to include but not be limited to: coaching, performance management, work schedules and employee development. Manage Vendor Relationships which provide essential functions to applicable Banking Products. Management of Vendor Relationships to include Annual Due Diligence Review and Reporting. Serve on and/or lead many special projects throughout the PFCU organization as a respective subject matter expert Other duties as assigned.

TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL NEED

High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business preferred. A minimum of 8 years’ Payment Services banking experience with a minimum of 5 years of those years as a Manager. A minimum of 3 years of experience supervising and coaching multiple direct reports. Extensive knowledge of Word and Excel spreadsheet software is necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral communication skills. In addition, presentation skills are necessary as training is a component of the job. Ability to create procedures, job aids and product content that are searchable and easy to find. Outstanding level of written communication skills and have to the ability to write policies clearly, concisely and completely while adhering to internal and external regulatory requirements. Ability and passion to conduct extensive research on an ongoing basis regarding many banking matters. Must have the ability to work independently and cross functionally with diverse subject-matter experts. Ability to work independently and cross functionally with diverse subject-matter experts. Good working knowledge of financial institution rules and regulations including in depth knowledge of Regulation E-Electronic Funds Transfer Act, Regulation CC-Expedited Funds Availability Act, NACHA Operating Rules and Regulation J-Collection of Checks and other items by FRB and Funds Transfers through Fedwire.
