What work will you perform?
As a Credit Analyst at Landstar you will evaluate customer credit information, manage credit lines up to $25K, analyze reports from credit agencies, and communicate with those agencies to address any discrepancies. The role involves maintaining accurate customer records, responding to inquiries promptly, and managing account activities to ensure data integrity. The analyst will handle customer complaints, provide effective solutions, and assist with documentation for audits and legal matters. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments are essential for success in this position.
Essential Responsibilities:
General application of concepts and principles
Handles the investigation, evaluation, and/or resolution of issues
Respond to all inquiries timely
Provide feedback to improve processes
Works with other departments as needed
Communicate effectively with all necessary parties
Assists in preparation, coordination, and documentation of relevant processes
Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness, gathering missing documentation as needed
Be confident in making prompt decisions providing solutions within company policies.
Required Minimum Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED required,
1 year of office experience providing customer service
Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Accounting
1 year of experience as a
Credit Analyst Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Understanding of Landstar’s business within our industry
Analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
