Position SummaryThe Credit Analyst II provides accurate, timely,and succinct credit analysis to support the company’s portfoliomanagement and new business development efforts.

Duties ℜsponsibilitiesThis position is open to all locations withinBusey’s footprint. Financial statement spreading and analysis, includingcalculation of Debt Service Coverage or Fixed Charge CoverageRatios per Busey guidelines. Use financial data such as cash flow, liquidity, profitability,and leverage to determine and minimize the overall risk ofextending credit to businesses and individuals. Perform file reviews of assigned requests to ensure completeinformation, communicating with loan team to discuss missinginformation, applicable questions and any loan structuresuggestions or concerns. Work with Commercial Relationship Managers or other Lendingstaff to prepare clear and concise Commercial Credit ApprovalRequest (CCAR) memos that include all pertinent informationassociated with the overall risk of the loan, identifying thestrengths and weaknesses of the Borrower. Evaluate collateral, industry data and other relevant creditinformation. Assist with Portfolio Management duties to include testingfinancial covenants, monitoring monthly borrowing base reports,preparing portfolio reviews and sensitive asset reports, asassigned. Assist Commercial Relationship Managers with the preparation ofopportunity memos for new and existing relationships. Develop a working knowledge of the Commercial Banking LoanPolicy and systems, including nCino. Assist with other duties or special projects asassigned.

Education & ExperienceKnowledge of:

Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of financial accountingAbility to: Prioritize work flow, multi-task and work independently Analyze and solve problems Take independent action within established guidelines Perform duties under frequent time pressures with a high degreeof accuracy and attention to detail

Education and Training:

Requires Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business orFinance. Requires 2 – 3 or more years of Commercial Creditexperience. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Base Pay Range:
